if it was in a wallet then return it to who it belonged to.

if it was just cash in the trolley then keep it and spend it as nobody can claim it but the person who finds it.

If you've found cash there's probably no way of ensuring it gets returned to the person who has lost it.  The only way you can ensure this is to ask if anyone has reported losing something in the store, ask what it is they've lost if they say yes, and contact the people yourself.  Otherwise the likelyhood is that it's going to whoever you hand it into or into the company coffers.  You can leave your details for that person to contact you if you prefer, but dont mention finding £60 in cash or anyone could be ringing you.  Alternatively..... go ahead and spend or if you cant live with yourself, hand it to a worthwhile charity.
