¿Do you like when people talk to you in the bus or the tube?

I used to do it all the time with the excuse of "I need to practice my english" however I mostly got the typical london look of "For the love of god, don't speak to me"

Why do you think this happend, I mean, is it only me, or has this ever happened to you?

  1. hahah nah i think it would be cool i was on the bus the other day and everyone was soooo depressed and it was silent i felt like i had to whisper when i was talking to my friend...i talk to anyone myself though like in shops and stuff haha so just talk to the people who look like they arent mean or moody

and when random people have came up to me and spoke i spoke back they normally said something funny so  get your joke book out and start practising haha!

or come to scotland were nice! haha

  2. I'm indifferent but polite.  I'll listen and communicate if common courtesy requires but I'm in transit for a purpose.  Speleological subjects such as Helicites or Hodags, I'll assume, isn't your cup of tea.  Both are my bread and butter.  As are the underground rails

    and an infrequent bus.

  3. I wouldnt be rude and wouldnt start a conversation, but if someone spoke to me I'd speak back.

  4. not just you,as a Race, we are all uncomfortable to speak on public transport.Try chatting to people in a long queue.

  6. First of all: We don't use ¿¿¿¿ in English.

Secondly... your English is = my Russian.

  7. No I HATE it.

I just want to sit on the bus in total peace and quiet.
