?, the belt is off my Kirby

Question

The vacuum was given to me, because it didn't work, all I see wrong is the belt is off. I just need to know exactly where it goes ??? Does it go in the center of the roler, or on the end ? How is it attached to the shaft ? Its a G4, Thanks pics would I have No manual !!!!
