0.35mm reel?

hello,i want to buy Daiwa Sensor Surf Mono 15lb line, my reel says capacity is 0.35mm but on ebay it says the line is 0.37mm

what would happen if i put it on?

  1. As explained 4oz is a bulk spool of monofilament ( one strand ,as opposed to being made up of many as would be braid) Gerry's is a dealer ,or as would be described in the states an outlet such as Bass pro , Walmart etc


  2. Pete's right. The difference is minimal as to not worth worrying over. Yes different manufactures lines  vary slightly. Remember you only get what you pay for. Cheap lines are only good for backing to put a good line on top of them.

  3. I put 20 lb line on a 7 lb rated reel and only two things happen.

    1. Less line on the reel  2. Shorter casting distance.

  4. I don't think it would make a difference. There is considerable variation in the diameter of lines of the same strength from different manufacturers. If the reel is made for "15 lb line" it should work. The only difference between .35mm and .37 mm line would be a little difference in the reel's capacity.
