i have had my ears streached to a 2 gauge for about four months now.

i saw these 0g plugs that i really want and decided to move up a size.

i got 0g claws in and for about a day it was fine but when i woke up this morning both earlobes were swolen to about twice thier normal size.

i took the jewlry out a couple hours ago but the swelling hasn't gone down.

what should be my next move?

put the twos back? or wait till the swelling goes down and try putting the 0s in again?

please don't answer if you have no experience with streaching or just to say "thats gross".

  1. Well OBVIOUSLY you did soemthing worng Im gauging both lobe

twice I have two piercings on each each im going to a size 0 on the front lobes and the sec are a 8G and Im staying a 8 on the sec ones

He mean you could have went to fast like putting them in and also 2g is a bigger size them 10 or 8 you can use a plug while jumping to another size you need tapers for that not plugs and or claws Tapers that's all I used was plugs to get to an 8 and it was pretty painful lol soo when i start to for to an 8 on my front lobes I wlll be using tappers and pinchers

  2. You should put the 2gs back in and wait two months for it to heal again. Then try the twos, if it hurts dont continue.

  3. I do tattoos for a living and so I see a lot of stretching gone wrong.

What I mean to say is that you should put in the 2s because if it goes wrong, then there is a chance that you could cause small fissures in your lobe that would leave some pretty nasty keliods or worse, require surgery.

I know the feeling about seeing killer jewelry and wanting it. You might check and see if they can rock up some 2s in the plugs that you are interested in. Just taper that bad boy in.

Or worse case scenario, buy the plugs before someone else does and let your ears mellow out for a month or so. I mean, you can always work with an undamaged ear but it is hard to work with one that is cracked or has parts of broken flesh.

This will be true if you want to go much bigger than a 00.

    Hope that helps,

    Best,

    NP

  4. Dont put it back in while its swellling, did you increase the gauge size gradually, or just push it it?

Clean it with sea salt solution aswell.

Edit: what i actually meant was, did you just push in the 0g, or did you slowly work up to that using a taper?
