Is the stock horn connected to a relay? Is the a connector and where is it located? I need to rewire the hot side, the ground is OK.

Thanks

  1. Are you any good with a soldering gun? Just strip the two ends of the wire and twist them together and lay a good drip of solder on them and then heat shrink wrap it. Be sure to put the heat shrink wrap on before twisting them together.

  2. you don't need a horn on a Harley

Harley's make a loud enough exhaust noise everybody will hear you coming 2 miles away and they have enough time to get outta your way.

2nd, and with the loud exhaust, even if you had a working horn, nobody would hear it in the first place.

  3. your horn gets power thru the switch by either a blue accessory power wire or orange and white...that's power in to your left switches. coming out is yellow and black, that is the wire that gets power to the horn when you push the button. it should travel in the harness bundle from the switch to about mid point under the tank and then section off to your horn. any relay or fusing would be back where the accessory power wire to the switches originated.

  4. Why not just sodder the two ends back together?
