03 Nissan Altima Timing belt?

my car not starting,has lights, radio, battery is good. engine will not turn over. no clicking noise. mechanic says its not starter, says maybe timing belt, is this correct. How much is installation? could it be anything else?

The main thing in your question is "engine will not turn over" !!!!!

So to help you, if the timing belt was bad then the engine would still turn over.

On the 2.5 4cyl and the 3.5 V/6 engines you have no timing belt, you have a timing chain and it looks like this guy is trying to pull the wool over your eyes.

You need to start out by checking the battery, the cables, the starter and do a electrial system check out but not from this guy, take it to someone else.
