Hey I have been wanting to get a new muffler for some time on my car and i was looking at a flow master 60 and injen's universal muffler. i talked to a guy at mitas about it and he said that i will loose all my back pressure with this muffler. on flow masters website it says it is made for small displacement motors, as for the injen muffler i cant find anything about it. is this true? also I installed an, injen short ram intake on it if this matters?? please help

  1. i wouldnt worry too much about power losses too much considering your car has 45 stock hp.. i can solve this problem real quick for you: BUY A REAL CAR AND BE DONE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i might suggest a ford pinto, but you need to step up to it slowly, start with a vette, then any ferrari, then lamborghini, then mcclaren f-1, then pinto. DONE SON!!!

  2. I would get a bigger muffler so that it wont loose power, the muffler shop will tell you what kind to get and which one will be the best for more power and sound good.

  3. You won't lose all your back pressure.. you still have your catalytic converter (in the Lx it's connected to the exhaust manifold)..  However, aftermarket mufflers for the LX are basically useless for power gains.
