04 Dodge neon SRT-4 Reliable?

I need info on this car so i can make a better decision on which car to purchace thx

I think the Neon SRT4 is reliable, provided you don't go crazy modifiying it.  The more you mod it, the faster it goes, but also, the harder the engine/drivetrain/car has to work.  True it is made to go faster than the average Neon, but underneath, it is still a Neon.  

Personally, I don't trust American quality that much over Germans and Japanese brands.  It's a good car out of the box because it goes fast and is cheap.  But you don't get a great all around package.  It doesn't have a great interior, it doesn't handle as good as it could, and as I said, reliability is in question.

So do what you have to do.
