061808 on a beer bottle, what does this mean?

I saw this on a bottle of Molson Canadian, which I didn't see the last time I bought some. Is it like Budweiser's born-on-dating (though as you know Molson is not a Bud product), in which case I would have about 2 more months to drink this beer while it's still fresh?

yes its a born on date I'm sure it is fine

yes, that means its "freshness" date ended on 06/18/08,  not produced then.  Its still good for probably 100 years, but will start becoming flat and less flavorful.

That means darling you have a case of old beer on your hands....hurry and slam them down so you can get a fresh batch of brew!
