07 honda civic si coupe......premium gas only??

Alright so i really wanna buy an 07 civic si coupe. I was pumped and had all the financing figured out until i read that it only runs on premium gas. Can it run on regular? with the price of gas it really could affect my decision. Will putting premium in it really cost that much more?

You only get what you pay for.  Putting other gas besides premium won't harm it but you'll get less output from the car such as hp.  If the car recommends premium, pump only that kind other wise you shouldn't have bought the car and it can damage the engine in the long run if you constantly pump bad grade of gas for the car.

just use reg. or the mid grade, then put some octane boost in your tank.
