I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be.. if you mean as far as any specific luck or something of the sort goes; I don't know of anything like 7-7-07. :)

8 is a lucky number in China, so they have a record number of marriages planned for 8/8/08 (similar to last year's 7/7/07 boom in the US).

I am getting married on that day...in 2 days!

We have a story behind it though, our daughter was born on 7/7/07 so we are just keeping the date theme going....we have been together for 6 years and decided to just go for it! We will have our reception next year on our one year anniversary!!

I think it's a great day.

Our wedding was on 07/07/07 and everyone loved how we incorporated our date in everything from the favors to the pictures.

I second the answer about China.  I work in an immigration law firm, and I've heard a lot over the past year about how special 08/08/08 is to a Chinese couple, and how it will bring the marriage luck.  And of course, you draw all the other folks who just like the sound of the day, or the people who think it's easy to remember.  One Chinese paralegal I work with has 2 weddings to attend on Friday, and knows of others getting married that day.  Is it a good day?  Why not!
