look at the successive ratio of one term to the next. Make a conjecture.

What EVEN IS A SUCCESSIVE RATIO WE DIDN'T EVEN LEARN THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. That's the Fibonacci sequence.

    1,1 is the start then add the two previous numbers to get the next

    1+1 = 2

    1,1,2

    1+ 2 = 3

    1,1,2,3

    2+3 = 5

    1,1,3,5

    and it goes on

    so it would go on as such

    1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,377...

    Successive ratio is showing one ratio to the other one.

    If you pay attention to them, you can see that they get closer to ½, then farther from it. It will probably keep getting closer to half, then farther, then closer, etc.
