1.00$ stores good or bad for the economy?

with the economy the way it is, I spend alot of $ at the 1$ store who does the same thing? Thanks for answers.

  1. I dont have a quantitative answer to justify the good / bad, but in a free market economic system, anythin that's bad for the economy gets thrown out and anythin that is good for the economy stands the test of time.

    As an example Trucks and SUV's thrived during the lost cost fuel days, now that fuel cost have drastically increased truck and SUV makers are in the red. Eventually if fuel costs get way to high the market place will not see SUV and trucks.... unless someone innovates to bring a good hybrid fuel efficient SUV/truck


  2. Both good and bad. Most of the stuff is made in china-bad for America. To stretch a buck-good for the individual.

  3. every business that is making money is good for the economy. They fill a niche. People who only want to spend a $1 on something. It is good.
