  1. wow! thats great, however my son did not  #1 or 2 on his own till he was 3... & I personally think thats when they are ready... some think its late but I dont thats when he started showing interest in doing it himself.

  2. I wouldn't push him. 1 1/2 is really young to be potty trained especially for a boy. Most boys aren't potty trained until 2 1/2 or 3, some are even older than that. Just be grateful that he goes #1

  3. thats great! he's very early for being pee pee trained thats for sure! Usually kids p**p in a spot, like behind a chair or door, just keep a super close eye on him for a couple days and try to figure out his poopin habit. Once you find it you could try to interject and place him on the potty instead. But definantly dont push him or he may stop all together with the potty, pee and poo. good luck, feel very blessed that he is already going pee in the toilet though!

  4. He's only 18 months old...  Give him more time to naturally learn.  After all the AVERAGE boy doesn't become potty trained until around 28-32 months.

This might mean you have to keep him in diapers of some sort for a little bit longer.  But if you use something like the "pull-ups", he'll stay "safe" from accidents until he naturally learns, and you won't be changing a diaper every time he has to pee.

  5. He is really young to be trained at all.  Usually boys are over 3.  I would just tell him every time he goes "you went #2, you need to to that on the toilet".  That is all I can think of because he is so young he just might not realize it yet.

  6. I am not trying to be rude or anything but maybe you should wait awhile longer. If you train him too early he might relapse.
