1/4" NPT threaded outlet too small for fuel tank?

Question

Blue Holley Electric Pump, Holley 600 Carb, 351 Windsor.

Fuel does not seem to be flowing well could this be the problem?

the holley fuel pump has 3/8 npt on both sides thats why your 1/4 doesn't fit need the next size bigger..and the fuel line should be 3/8 also...and the fuel pump has to be within 3 ft of the fuel tank the holley fuel pump pushes more than it sucks,so needs to be as close to the gas tank as you can...and put the fuel filter between the pump and the tank.

No, but the location of the fitting and pump could be as well as how the pump is powered.
