1 5/8" tweeters???

okay so i measured my tweeters because im looking toward getting some new ones.....only problem is they are 1 5/8" and ive looked everywhere and have found none of that size...what can i do....do i go smaller......the part of the door that the tweeters go in is 1 5/8" hole with clips so i know i cant go bigger......any ideas

yes, you can go smaller.  1 5/8 is definitely an odd size.  try titanium dome tweeter to see if it sounds good in your car.  the 1 5/8 is larger, so it might be designed to reproduce a bit lower frequency range in your car.  harder dome tweeters will tend to have better lower end frequency response and make up for that.
