1-800 numbers?

Has anyone had trouble calling toll free numbers?

Only when they were disconnected or didnt exist- other then that -no --what's going on? what happens for you?

Remember that some 800 numbers are only available from certain areas.  The place you are calling may have had the number configured to accept calls from the U.S. but not  Canada, for example, or to accept calls from its own state and adjoining states but not from further away, etc.

This selective acceptance of 800 calls is less common than it once was, but can still be encountered.
