2. With an iPhone, is it easy to catch an Internet connexions via Wifi from the streets of Bangkok ?

It may be cheaper to get the iPhone in your own country than in Thailand.  Also, you won't have a problem with the warranty when you purchase it in your own country.    Unless you come from a country where electronics are always marked way up - Thailand may not be a bargain for you!

My nokia cost me 2,600 baht and I can make a call anywhere and have a clean connection,  Why spend so much for a phone, I can buy a laptop for less.

My wife's family uses there regular cellphones to call her in the USA. I pay for a "Callback" service. so they do not get charged and I pay around 20 cents a minute, it would be less if they lived in Bangkok.  We use www.uwtel.com, the same company to call Thailand for a lot less than regular long distance.  There are a few other companies offering discount calls to-from Thailand.

the IPhone 16gb cost about 25000baht in Thailand , the new 3G IPhone cost about 46000baht. I been asking about the price for the iphone in MBK , Pantip Plaza ,Central Mall in Pingkao ,99% of the retailer quote me this price.

Singapore is cheaper ,the cost about $830 for the 8gb and $980 for the 16gb but the 3G iphone cost about $2200

Connecting the wifi in Thailand is difficult , I try it many time and take a bloody long time to get connect.

The fourth floor at the MBK Mall is a better place than Pantip for mobile phones and iPhones, although phones are available at Pantip, there are many more phones shops at MBK than Pantip. I can't say what the price is for the new 3G iPhone or what it costs in Singapore, but the original iPhone was selling for about 16,000-22,000 depending on whether it was an 8gb or 16gb model, no bargain there. The 3G iPhone may be released later this year in Asia, you can probably expect to pay a fair amount more now than what it will cost after the official release.

As far as wi-fi, only if you can find an unsecured signal can you get a wi-fi connection without either purchasing a wi-fi connection for hotspots through companies like True or a coffee shop or business that offers free wi-fi with purchase.
