  1. (1 / R) - (1 / 0.010) = 360

    First, we know (1 / 0.010) = 100

    Just plug it into a calculator.

    So:

    (1 / R) - 100 = 360

    Move the -100 to the other side by adding both sides by 100:

    (1 / R) = 460

    Cross mutiply:

    460R = 1

    Divide both sides by 460 to get R by itself:

    R = 1/460

  2. (1/R)-(1/0.010)=360

    1/R = 360 + (1/0.010)

    1/R = 360 + 100

    1/R = 460

    R = 1/460

  3. 1/r =  1/0.01 + 360 ( taking  RHs  to LHS)

    1/R = 360x0.01 + 1 /0.01 = 4.6/0. 01  = 460/1

    hence R = 1/460

  4. (1/R) - (1/0.010) = 360

    (1/R) - (100) = 360

    1/R = 360+100 = 460

    R = 1/460

    --------

  5. 1 / R = 360 + 100

    1 / R = 460

    R = 1 / 460

    R = 2.17 x 10^(-3)

  6. 1/R - 100 = 360

    1/R = 460

    R = 1/460 = 0.0022
