    Yes, the money can be justified - we wouldn't be using the web if it were not for funding from CERN and the science community's needs that engendered it.


  2. You got the star for the first part of the question as I've wondered it myself.  The money side of it ... 'the far from my bed show' as they say where I'm from :-)
