  1. = ([1/a] - [1/{a + h}])([1/a] - [1/{a + h}])

    = ([{a + h} - a]/[a{a + h}])([{a + h} - a]/[a{a + h}])

    = ([a + h - a]/[a{a + h}])([a + h - a]/[a{a + h}])

    = ([a + h][a + h])/([a{a + h}][a{a + h}])

    = 1/a²

    Answer: 1/(a[a]) or 1/a²

  2. 1/a X 1/a = 1/a^2

    The answer to the problem is

    [1/a^2] - [2/(a^2 +ah)] + [1/(a^2+2ah+h^2)]

  4. 1/a · 1/a = 1²/a² = 1/a²

  5. this is by using (a-b)^2 formula

    a^2 -2ab+b^2

    you get

    (1/a)^2-2(1/a)(1/a+h)+(1/a+h)^2

    =1/a^2 - 2/{a(a+h)} + 1/(a+h)^2

    1/a multiplied by 1/a= 1/a^2

  6. h^2
