in the basement. I am moving somewhere larger that has a washer dryer hook up but cant afford new at this time,

2. what do I need to adapt them I need a y hose as I have a single hose that hooks to a single faucet

3 do most apartments put the washer drain hose in a raised thing off the floor or do I need something to hold the hose up in the air in a basement so the water does not run out,,,I had not lived with a basement in 25 ears and forget how they do it.

4 and finally the dryer hose..are the apartment dryers and regular using the same size hose and can that be fixed if one is slightly too small with some adapter or something,

please answer all 4 questions if possible thanks

  1. 1 yes, #2 You just need to get 2 washers supply lines and a washer drain hose. Unscrew the single hose from the back of the washer and replace with 2 hoses hot to hot and cold to cold. Replace the drain hose with the new one you bought. #3 If your basement has a washer and dryer hookup you should have a washer drain right next to the water hookups for the washer. #4 Depending on the model they are pretty much the same size
