1 day cruise stop at Naples, Capri?

I'll be on a med cruise in august. Naples, Capri is one of our ports of call. We are not very interested in historic ruins. So what do u suggest we can do/see on this one day in Naples,Capri?

P.S. we are not planning to take any of the cruise's shore excursions. we prefer touring on our own.

On our cruise that stopped in Naples we went to Pompeii.  Then we went to a lemon and olive farm where we had samples and were shown how mozzarellas cheese is made.  But I know there were some tours that took you to Mt Vesuvius.  You can probably find that type tour and so others on this web site.
