1 positive test, 4 neg...

Question

I was supposed to start my period June 25th and still have not... I have taken several pregnancy test. The first one was positive the 4 after that were negative. (First Response & Ept) Ive been feeling really tierd, dizzie when I first get up, nauseated, headaches, and very emotional. I have an appointment to see my doc but they cant see me for another three weeks. Can I still be pregnant if four test were negative?

depends if you took them all at the same time. if they were taken at different times and days it could be a miscarriage go to the free clink and have a pregnancy test done there but a blood one to see if you don't want to wait for your doctor good luck lots of baby dust and god bless

Anything is possible.  I've heard of pregnancy with negative HPT.  If period doesn't show soon, try testing again, or even having a blood test.

If you wait 3 weeks for your appt. and still have no period, the doc should definatley be able to tell you if you are pregnant.

If your appt is with the OBGYN and you don't want to wait that long, try seeing your family doc for a blood test or maybe your local Health Department can test you.

I went through the same thing, I was acutually about a week late when I got my positive.  The EPT tests ALWAYS showed negative for me until about 7 days late.  The First Response had the light line the earliest.  If you got the positive with the First response, you very well could be pregnant.  its more likely to get a false negative than a false positive.  Especially if you are late!  Take another test with your first pee in the AM and see what it says.  Your HCG count doubles every 24-48 hours, so you should start getting pretty good posivties in a couple days if you are indeed pregnant.
