  1. i understand. After getting mine down i was in extreme extreme pain for a week. I took all the meds they gave me on the first day and then took so many nurofen plus and panadol i lost count. I took 16 nurofen plus within 24 hours a few days in coz it hurt that bad (your not supposed to take more than 4 a day of those ones as they can be really bad for your liver). After a week and a half my pain was gone. All i can say is give it time and i know it really hurts but i tried to sleep as much as i could, maybe try nurofen plus bcoz it helped a little for me. And i had the most swollen cheeks I looked like a chipmunk, I was very unattractive that week and a half.

  2. There is a good chance that you have rebound pain now as you took 4 Tylenol 3's. As well, you need to take them as prescribed and not take 4 at once.

If the pain is that severe, it may be an infection. Call your dentist to ask what you can do. If you can't call him/her, go to the ER.

  3. Are you bleeding?  Having severe swelling?  Greenish discharge?  If not, just pain then ride it out for now.  Call your dentist in the morning and say the pain is severe still.

Generally there will be pain for a bit.  Have you followed the diet and been rinsing with what they told you (or gave you to rinse with)?  Its is possible that food became lodged near the incisions.

If that pain is unbearable or you are having bleeding, call your dentists emergency line or go to the ER.

  4. Time is the only cure. Ask your dentist or doctor for some pain killers.
