  1. i would bring a lot, maybe bring a credit card, you can go to an ATM there, my dad did

  2. Venezia is expensive about ALL unfortunately. Shopping, food( also little things like caffè and cornetto are expensive) etc… Venezia it’s expensive for the same italians ppl , so you have “take cure” of your money.

Different thing if we speak about Florence and Rome. Food isn’t so expensive, if you search a “trattoria” you can get menu at 10 euro or 15 max 20. There are restaurants expensive but often this are at centre of the city and aren’t so diffuse.

An icecream (don’t small) cost around 2euro. Pizza margherita (rotonda)around 6 euro but also 7euro, i don’t remember how much  is the “pizza al taglio” to Roma, i’m sorry…

    About shopping :

Florence and Rome can be expensive if you want buy to the well-know streets , but if you look around you’ll find many nice shops with reasonable prices. You have remember that like in every place also here every shop have its prices .

If you want buy much, bring with you 300/350/400 euro and, if for you is not a problem  you can go to the outlet.

    About taxis ...hmmm X(

Take bus or metro. You can buy "BIRG", a useful ticket if you want keep many time(in the same day) bus or metro. With this you can go "out" Roma and  come back -remember only in the same day- keeping train, metro, bus, without spend money other the same price of ticket.

  3. museums are $10 to $30

extra trips can be $100 to $1000.

food is about $40 per meal at full service,

    $10 at a bar, $10 at Macdonald's, $100 for

    a really fancy meal.

a glass of wine can be $5 to $50.

a bottle of wine is often a better deal.

    buy your water at supermarkets.

and carry big bottles of water around.

    shopping really varies in price,

    a dress can be $30 to $500.

bring shorts and thin shirts and sandals.

    it's really hot this year.

i would say about $1000 if you have to buy all

your meals, $500 if food is included.

ps, i live in Germany and travel to Italy every year.

  4. 50,000 lira
