  1. he wont sleep cuz hes 1 week old......

  2. Oh girl, I feel for you.. =(

My son is almost a month old now and he was the SAME way for the first 2- 2 1/2 weeks! He would NOT sleep at all, day or night.. I was sooo stressed and out of my mind from the lack of sleep and hormonal changes plus trying to recover myself from giving birth!

Honestly - I swear - it gets better!! Tons better.. and soon.

What worked for me is I found out my caffine was keeping him awake. I drank 3-4 cups of coffee per day and since I was breastfeeding, he was constantly wired from it. I stopped and he's been sleeping better ever since.

He still wakes up every 2 or so hours to eat, then back to bed.

It'll get better soon!! Just give it some time for him to adjust to life.. it won't last long.  Good luck sweeite <333

  3. Gas........................... make sure you also burp the kid.

Please, please, please ditch the pacifier - it's not good for them.

  4. try a noise machine with a heartbeat sound & swaddle him when putting him down for bed. you want to try to make him feel like he's still in the womb.

  5. probably he isn't tired.....my friends baby was like that and there is nothing wrong with her. She is now four years old.

  6. There are dozens of reasons why he isn't sleeping.  He could have his days and nights mixed up.  If he is crying a lot he could be hot, cold, tired, not tired, wet, dry, hungry, not hungry.  He could have a stuffy nose, he could have an earache or tummy ache.  It could be gas, he could be wrapped to tightly for his tastes, he might not be wrapped tight enough.  It could be too noisy in your home or too quiet.  You have to learn to figure out your baby's cries.  If he is just awake and not fussing, put him in his bassinet/crib/cradle and go to bed yourself.

  7. Does he sleep during the day?  Sometimes they get their days and nights mixed up.

  8. i dont know well maybe he is just  not tired..i think he is not that tired i think he has energy
