1 week old cockatiels, shouldn't they be standing up?

their heads are hanging down, they are being fed, other than that they seem ok.the mom and dad don't eat all that i give them. i have been putting baby bird formula dry,in with the seeds. these birds came from a rescue so that's what they eat, broccoli,rice,chicken, bread,Cheerios is and scrambled eggs is all they will eat. any suggestions ? what else can i give mom and dad?

my bird, hangs his head down constantly and thats just how he has always been it doesnt mean anythings wrong, so you dont need to worry about that.  as long as the babies are eating they are fine. you should try to give them nutrients like calcium,etc. the parents are probably just stressed but there appetite should go back to normal and you can also give them nutrients too, especially mom, she will need alot of calcium because of all the calcium she lost from laying eggs. you can give her calcium by scraping off pieces of cuttlebone and putting it in her food
