1 week postpartum..can i wear tampons?

I know this sounds dumb, because the dr says wait, but i had absolutly no soreness or pain down there after my baby. i feel great, but i HATE wearing pads. Is it okay to start wearing tampons now?

Please give me your expiriences. Thanks!

you should be okay if your not sore etc,but if you do start feeling sore take them out straight away and let yourself heal properly x

I would wait. Even though you feel normal, there is a wound on your uterus where the placenta was attached about the size of your hand. That needs to heal. Dont put anything up there or you risk infection..
