I'm a green card holder and want to petition my biological parents just to visit here in America even three months or less than 6 months.How much the total cost of money to petition with them and also how long do i wait to process their papers? Thanks...

"US green card holders (also called resident aliens, permanent residents, etc.) can sponsor a spouse, minor children (under 21 years of age), and adult sons and daughters (over 21 years of age) for US green cards. However, there is a significant backlog in the priority dates for these categories. A priority date is the date an Alien Relative petition is filed. It can be several years, due to the high demand for these Visas, from the time that an Alien Relative petition is filed, until the green card is finally approved."  So you see, as a green card holder, you are not in a position yet to sponsor/petition your parents.

    Wait till you become a citizen then you can now petition them.  Meanwhile, if they are only coming for a visit, why not ask them to apply for a tourist visa instead?
