Do you think Federer can beat Nadal in Hamburg again, or was last year a fluke?

Federer needed like a bit more than an hour and Nadal 3 hours today. I highly doubt Nadal will be able to play match on the same level he did today. Fed to defend tittle.

Similar position to last year - Nadal was fatigued coming into the final after another long season on the clay. This explains his whipping first set, then the lame score in the last two. Being a Roger fan, I would prefer to see Roger win again....however if losing means that he wins in three weeks from now....

It's Hamburg Schmamburg really as it means nothing in the end.....as it's all about Paris. Did a Hamburg loss bug Nadal last year (despite the streak being broken)? Nup! as he stated - he will just start another streak starting at zero.

Guess Federer will try but we can't really say, maybe last year indeed was fluke. I'd bet on 6-3 not any of the figures mentioned by you. Nadal will win.

Roger has something to prove tomorrow. He has had a disappointing performance so far this year, so he would be looking forward to polishing his image a little bit and it could not have come against a better person than Rafa, that too on clay. I would have to say 9-7.

I dont see why Federer cant win, though I will pull for Nadal or Novak. he is winning matches this tournament very easily, and for some reason plays exceptionally well at Hamburg. At same time though, Nadal will want to avenge that loss and rebound from his most recent loss on clay due to his blisters, or Novak will be motivated as well, if for any reason, having beaten Roger before and steadily climbing up the rankings, and showing he is a force on all surfaces. No one dominates and is more consistent than the Top 3 in the world. Should be a great final, as always.
