I know it's basically Coffee, Milk or Cream, Ice and the Caramel Syrup but I would like specifics like exactly how much of this and that and which brands taste best... if you think your Caramel Iced Coffee recipe tastes better than McDonalds & I make it and agree that will count too...TIA!

Make a batch of this early in the day so it will be well chilled. If you like making cold coffee drinks, making coffee ice cubes so they won’t dilute your drink.

1 1/2 cups strong hot brewed coffee

1/4 cup caramel flavored dessert sauce

2 to 3 tablespoons sugar, to taste

Coffee ice cubes

1 1/2 cups cold milk or milk/half-and-half combination

Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)

Ground cinnamon, for garnish (optional)

While the coffee is still hot, pour it into your measuring cup and add the caramel sauce and sugar then stir until dissolved. Then refrigerate until cold.

When you’re ready to serve, divide the coffee between 2 tall chilled glasses filled with coffee ice cubes. Add milk or half-and-half to each glass, to taste. Top with whipped cream, if desired, then garnish with cinnamon stick. Finally, drizzle a little additional caramel sauce over the top as well.
