10 Minute trainer by Tony Horton?

i wanna get it but i am 324 pounds will i be able to lose 65 pounds in 7 1/2 months from sept 1 thru april 1 around that is it worth it or no.. thanks.

  1. People always look for the easy way out. Any 10 minute program will not cut it. Your hormones won't even have time to get to work in that time :)

    You need to be getting your pulse up at least 30 minutes a day.


  2. i don't know about the 10 min trainer, but you can definitely lose 65lbs in 7.5 months by reducing your calories and doing moderate exercise.. I'm sure any exercise (video -- I'm assuming i have no idea who tony horton is) will help  

  3. You can definitely lose that 65 pounds for 7 1/2 months without doing that 10minute trainer. Start eating healthy, cut back on calories and junk foods, and do a 30minute exercise EVERYDAY. 10 minutes of exercise can't reap that cardio requirement for someone to lose that much.  

  4. Actually 10 Min trainer is a great program for you.  The workouts are broken up in 10 Min sections so it makes it easier to fit into a busy schedule.  It also makes it easier to create your own plan.

    You should be using 2-3 workouts per session.  The sessions are timed so just do whatever you can for that exercise.  The use of the bands and the mix of cardio and strength will help you hit your goal.

    This is a great Low impact plan with an easy to use meal plan.  You can adjust your calories as needed to be sure not to cut too low in the beginning.

    I highly recommend the 10 Min trainer Deluxe kit since it has all the workouts and will give you some extra fitness bands so you can expand the program as your fitness improves.

    Do not be fooled by the 10 Min name.  It will have you really working for that 10 min!

    I think the goal of 65 pounds in 7 1/2 months is very realistic and you will do well with this program.  If you want more of a traditional 45 min exercise routine with the same great principles Power 90 by Tony Horton is great!

  5. 10 Minute Trainer is an excellent program.  You have to keep in mind that, ideally, you are supposed to do 2-3 of the 10 minute workouts per day for best results.  These are very intense workouts, and if you follow the program, you WILL lose weight with it.  Tony Horton definitely knows what he's doing.  These are not easy workouts, and they do give results.

    If you eat healthy and exercise consistently, you should be able to lose 65 pounds in 7 1/2 months.

  6. no, 10 min wont help you lose a lot of weight, its probably more for toning. just run for 30 min a day. it doesnt even have to be running, it can be light jogging or power walking. along with that try some calistetics. like pushups, situps, pullups. by doing that every day and eating correctly i think you can loose 65 pounds in 7 and half months. after doing this for a year start p90x, also one of tony horton's products. this will really get you in shape.
