  1. Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders.  Taking the time now to make wise choices will serve you well as you graduate high school and move into adulthood.

Your school should have a guidance counselor whose job is to help students make decisions about the future, including what sort of career would be a good fit as well as options for further education (like vocational schools or college).  This would be the best place for you to start.  A guidance counselor should be able to help you with interest surveys (to determine where your interests lie) as well as assess your academic strengths, both of which should play a role in your decisions about a future career.  The office staff at your school can help you set up an appointment with the guidance counselor.

I pray that you will ultimately look to God to strengthen you and guide you- because He loves you so much more than you could ever grasp.  People (even parents) will let you down, but God never will.  Try reading the gospel of Mark.  That's the best advice I can give you.  "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."  -Proverbs 3:5-6

    Many blessings to you!

  2. A nurse is a good choice - they are very much in demand and make a good living.  Make sure you finish high school and then look into a nursing school.  They can help you there with getting grants or loans to pay for your schooling.
