  1. Its Apples way to stop music sharing. The files are encoded to a specific user.

Burn cd over at the other computer then rip them onto yours from the cd.

  2. unless i'm reading your question right...

you put someone elses music/itunes on your phone... brought your phone home.  and now want to offload the stuff you got.  onto your pc.

basically you can't.  it's been awhile since i tried to do it.  but trying to offload stuff ...off of an ipod device.  onto itunes... without having the media ...is tough

basically. that's how apple/itunes protects against people just rampantly sharing files.

if you could go anywhere... upload the stuff there.  and offload it at home.  it's be too easy to aquire massive amounts of stuff that you don't own.

i think you can basically have one or the other...

ie.  keep what's new on your phone... loosing every on your computer.  or... keep it on your iphone.  but if you delete it.  or remove it  it's just gone.  you can't really access it ...or offload it.

if it's an iphone... you may try emailing the files from your phone to an email account or something like that.  to... get the file off the phone.

but itunes is pretty much set up... to put things on ipods.  not take stuff off.

  3. Because they were not put into your itunes account they cannot be transferred.
