uh ok so im very interest in getting my hair dyed

and i love the whole scene skater look

i have light brown hair now and it goes down to my shoulders...

bring in pictures to your salon lady [dont do it yourself!!], and ask for choppy layers with side swept bangs. I like the picture you picked though, pretty cute. That sort of style takes lots of work. Washing your hair daily, blow drying it out, using styling wax and hairspray, ext. You can look on youtube for some videos on how to tease hair, and style it. Also, about the dying, keep your orignal hair color, and just ask for lighter highlights and some darker pieces of brown mixed in with your natural hair color. Remember, your hair will grow, and you will be able to see your roots, so try to go in 1 every 2 months for a touch up.
