  1. Sierra Leone in Africa, they screwd it up and couldn't keep peace between the corrupt government and the rebel factions of the people, and they finally had to call the US Marines. The UN was there for several months and did nothing, the Marines landed (one company) and restored order in two days!

  2. The Korean Conflict is the biggest military effort the UN was ever involved it.  People think it was just Americans who were involved, but that isn't the case.  It consisted of many countries, Great

Britain, The Netherlands, and Canada just to name a few.

  3. NONE,

    Because they have no army!!!!

  4. Let me give some good examples...

East Timor- Kofi Annan described it as "THe UN's finest hour"

The Gaza strip - Peacekeeping troops there

    Now some bad ones

    Sudan, Darfur- A mess.

    Cambodia - Another mess

  5. Angola, Cambodia in Asia, Sierra, Leone, Rwanda, Chad, Zaire,  Zimbabwe, Somalia,  Sudan, East Timor,  Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, all Balkan countries ,   Afghanistan in Central Asia,  probably Burma or Myanmar, Iraq as weapon inspectors which found no WMDS and as part of foreign aid.

    About all can list.

  6. Humm...another homework quesiton?

  7. Wikipedia to the rescue!
