Okay so for gym I have to make one hole of mini golf for a project. Stupid project, I know, but it's a really big part of my grade. I can use anything found at school (cones, jump ropes, balls, mats, etc.) and anything I have at home. my teacher has really high expectations cuz it's "summer gym" and since we have to fit a year of gym into this short amount of time.... Well, she says people get super into it (as in like moving electronic stuff). So, what should I do? I have about a week to make it. Thx!!!

  1. if u get two motors and a switch plus wheels and a board u cld put the wheels on the motor and attach that 2 a board of some sort then create a simple circuit and make it so when the ball hits the switch the whole thing moves and can take the ball SoMeWhErE ElSe.....i guess that cld be one part of it.

  2. Try using wood for starters. Take a sheet of plywood, or something smaller depending on how big you want it. Line a track using 2x4's or something else to your preference.

Mark where you want you borders on the plywood. Lay the track borders on a surface exactly how you want them on the plywood. Lay the plywood on top and nail away. Make it a straight line or a zig zag, or combination. Definitely add obstacles.

For obstacles try sticking a small piece of wood for a part of a wall. You can also  take a slimmer piece of wood, lay it down to your choice of height and nail it in. Get some of that "grassy" stuff like you put on a back porch around the pool for the surface covering.

An easy way to include the hole in this would be to have a ramp up to a higher (cup height) level and then cut a hole for the cup.

I'm sure cardboard or something similar could be used in place of wood if weight and size are a problem. Maybe use school books (real or fake) for obstacles. A "school lunch" hazard would be a nice touch. Sand (mashed potato) pit for example. Not real food, just a picture or something.

And absolutely be sure to make a flag for the hole. Maybe use a pencil or ruler.

    Good luck and have fun!

  3. Try making something like you have to hit the ball around bricks simple but hard for the golfer.
