  1. The sunlights rays hit the water. When it hits the water it goes throught out the water.

  2. creates a prism the individual colors of light..

  3. light is very fast and very hot so it hits water the light it cools down very fast so it changes derision

  4. It's not worth 10 points! Do your own homework, should take a whlle 10 minutes with access to the Net! Tsk, Tsk. My wife is a teacher.

  5. light heats water so water molecules move faster and the light is infracted because it changes the path of the light.

  6. when light hits water the light is refracted and bent. thats the best detailed answer i can give u im 17. good luck with your report.

  7. (basic reflections)

Reflection is the change in direction of a wave front at an interface between two different media so that the wave front returns into the medium from which it originated.

    (rainbows)

They are caused by reflections of sunlight of water droplets in the atmosphere. The water droplets act as individual reflectors that disperse the light into the respective colors of the rainbow.

A rainbow is made when light travels through rain drops and is broken up into its counterparts. White light is made up of all colors, when it is shined through a prism it is broken up. A perfect example is the Pink Floyd album cover "Dark Side of the Moon. There's a little physics lesson for you.

Natural phenomenon (light reflected and refracted off water droplets in air) give rise to rainbows. (The sun is always behind the observer facing a rainbow, isn't it?) That's how.

  8. water is the best conductor  of heat, light, and electricity on earth

  9. just look online

  10. When light travels into water refraction occurs. When a light ray changes mediums. It changes direction and passes out of the different medium at a different point. A good example is a straw in a glass of water.
