Question

im thinking about getting an ipod touch...

but im confused and i need some info.

so it has mail and safari... like regular email or what? you can send and receive emails? and to go on safari you'd have be online... so how does that work... is it like a regular mobile/cell phone where you have to have reception?

do you have to pay a certain amount monthly to use these functions?

well..i know that an ipod touch has wireless internet and it doent cost mouthy fees...

my friend has one and she does send emails,to other people...and she can check her myspace and all that.

You do have to have connection to someones unlocked Internet,to get access to the internet.

but you cant call anyone, its like an ipod,but with internet and you can touch the screen

The iPod Touch does have email and safari.  However, you can only access those features when you have wi-fi connectivity.  The is no monthly service fee.

You are confusing iPhone with iPod touch. iPod touch is just an MP3 player and nothng else. It has wi-fi I think, but not email or internet.
