i only got 4 hours of sleep last night--studying... jeez im only in ninth grade!... and i need a fast, school-friendly way to get a little burst of energy so i can last the rest of the day...

your help is appreciated!!

I would say that Monster is a good energy drink!  You could also get the energy shots that they have at gas stations!  Otherwise if you want a home remedy try drinking coffee and make it real srong, if you have vitamins don't forget them today!  Also don't wear any lotions that are lavender or anything because it is a calming smell and you don't need that!

  4. what u need to do is find something that will amuse u or go and splash water on your face. or you could drink an energy drink but  don't find them very nice.

    you could also get some one to pinch you really hard or tell some one to sneak up on you and make you jump (i mean tell them to do it when you are not expecting it).

  6. The energy drinks, like Red Bull and Monster, really work as far as getting you through a short patch.  If you can't get to those, the next best thing is a Sobe drink, or a Mountain Dew.

  9. I take 80 hour energy. I take 10-12 sprays a day after breakfast. That usually last me until late afternoon or evening. If I need it again in the afternoon, I take 3 sprays so I don't have too much energy to sleep at night. This is also a cheap product, it cost a little over $3 at Walmart including tax.

  15. Adrenalin, find an embarrassing situation and make it worse, the heart will start pumping and the adrenaline will wake you up.  Streak through a common area, you will wake up REAL quick.  LOL.  Sugar Free Rockstar, always does the trick.

  17. your body is young so drink a few glasses of water and have a snack. Don't focus on how tired you are cuz youll just feel worse.

  19. I'm not really sure what is high school friendly these days, seems like everyday something else gets banned...

    ... but you could try an energy drink like Red Bull, Stinger, or Vitamin water. Also Nodoz work really well I usually take one every 4 or so hours, but they're pills so be careful. Also, try eating oranges or grapefruit, we used to eat them when I played soccer and they wont be too heavy and make you feel sluggish. The vitamin C will be a quick pick up!!

  20. You can take those crazy high caffine beverages if you want to crash halfway through your day.  I prefer Vitamin Water Energy!  Awsome pick me up with no crash!  Yellow bottle.

  21. Energy drinks are good or double shots. If you can't go get them though I would suggest sugar. Not a long solution but it will get you through class!!

  24. If you only get 4 hours of sleep a night and you're only in the 9th grade, you are doing something very very wrong.

    You have no business looking for an energy jolt at school as using one will only serve to further damage your body.

    You need to be in bed with the lights off by 10:30pm. You're in the 9th grade, there's no reason for you to be up later. You need to focus on your school work more productively.

    To put it into context, if I studied and went to school and only slept 4 hours a night when I was in college, I would have had all of my text books memorized.

    You need to talk to you parents and your teachers for some guidance. They've been there and will be able to offer input that might be of significant benefit to you.

    Oops -you are in 9th grade?  Make that a couple of cans of diet coke instead!

    you should try red bull or monster energy drinks.

    also, there's a gum that has caffeine in it and it keeps you awake for a while.

    or make a quick stop to starbucks..thats what i do!! :)

  31. sugar!! soda, sweets and chocolate always do it for me...the ever famous "sugar rush" thats y kids must not get these stuff..it'll make u feel energized....dont wait until the energy rush wears off to have more sugar or u'll be in a horrible position..
