10 Points Can I receive E-bay and Internet Orders on my USPS P.O. BOX?

If so, do I need to buy a bigger box? I remember that an aunt sent me a Celtics jersey to my mom's P.O. Box once, and we had the smallest one. It didn't fit on the little P.O. BOX, so we had to pick it up in the counter in the post office, is this the same case scenario?

  1. It depends on the company if you are buying on the net.

I have received packages from e-bay sellers to my P.O. Box.

some companies will only ship to a physical address. UPS will not deliver to a P.O. box so when you order ask what method of shipping is being used.

And No you don't need a bigger box. If the package is too big to fit  the Post Office will put a yellow slip in your box that you take to the desk and pick up your over-sized package.

I do it all the time.

  2. Yes. But if you crowd up your box too much they'll eventually make you get a bigger one.

  3. Sellers on eBay usually will not ship to P.O.Box addresses. Many sellers require signatures for their deliveries and these need to be shipped to your home address.

  4. You can alway have the Post Office make the customers to come to their local Post Office to pick up the package.

Call them to find out, how you can do that.

  5. Yes you can receive them to your p.o.box, yes you need a bigger box. There is many feebay/craigslist/ioffer sellers like myself who will not ship to p.o. boxes though. All depends on the business/seller.
