10 Points! Which one should I buy: Cannon VIXIA HV30 or Canon HV20?

Question

I have an apple and imovie06. and I would like to camera to starting shooting films, something economical, but good. I check on several websites and found amazon to be the cheapest. Funny the hv20 is an older model and more expensive and the hv30 is new model and cheaper. Can anyone explain the difference and pro and cons of both cameras?

thats not true they just havent updated the prices.  I got my canon hv20 at circuit city for $630 i believe just a few weeks ago

I would say to go for the hv20.  Because really 630 dollars is a great price for that camera.  And trust me you don't need 30p if your not a professional film maker

The HV30 can shoot in 30p, it has a better LCD screen and it can use a larger battery.  And it's black.  It's not a huge difference (unless you want 30p), but if the HV30's cheaper there's no reason not to get it.
