I didn't know you went suppose to put two fighting fish together how do i stop them from fighting

Let me guess: these are betas we're talking about. If so, two males, if I'm not mistaken, won't stop fighting unless seperated.

If you can't put them into separate tanks then put  a screen in the tank to separate the two.

only males fight each other, females wont fight.  so you can buy one of each or seperate them.

Separate them, but make sure to put something between the two bowls/tanks that way they don't see each other and die from slamming into the tank.
