Please rate my team and tell me how I can improve it. It is a 10 team roto league, with the following stats: R, HR, SB, RBI, AVG, W, SV, K, HLD, ERA, and WHIP.

I am currently in 6th place. I am 1st in HR, 2nd to last in Runs, 2nd in RBI, last in SB, 5th in average, 3rd to last in wins, 6th in holds, 3rd to last in saves, 6th in K's, 6thin ERA, and 5th in WHIP.

Trade Dunn or park his *** on the bench, you have plenty of power in your lineup. His avg is killing you. Play Gomez or Lewis, they have decent avg and will get you SB's, you could also play one of them for Young on occasions. Get rid of Wheeler and Izzy, they are not going to get many saves now. If there are no other options at RP, get some SP's and trade Sheets or Shields for a top closer.

You are only in 6th place? I'm surprised because it is a very solid team. Strong IF with Gonzo and Uggla having career years, strong OF with hart heating it up.

The pitching is a little weak for a 10 teamer. I assume Sheets is your ace which is fine but he is injury prone. Shields is a great starter and I have him as my number 2 as well in a 10 teamer with similar stats. Vazquez is solid but the moose. Man Mike Mussina is just not worth owning in a 10 team mixed league. Is Floyd, Danks, Guthrie, Garza, etc availabel? Because they have more upside and maybe even less risk. I would maybe trade one of your bats to get another starter. Maybe Magglio or Peavy? Dunn for Beckett? Try to get another strong SP to help that rotation.

The pen is great with Wagner and Soria. Izzie is a OK number 3. Wheeler is a beast holds guy (so dont listen to guy above) and I have him as well :). I would probably drop Fred Lewis and pick up another holds guy such as Eddie Guardado, Embree, Dirty Sanchez, or Manny Delcarmen.

Just do those things I recommended and I think you can make a huge second half run because this is a solid team.

i think whats killing u is ur pitching...cuz ur offense n d seem pretty tight id look 4 sum pitchers or try n trade for someone like johan santana whos not doing good rite now but i thnk will get better lader

lose wheeler doesn't give you much in any of the stats above.

To make your team better you are stacked in offense try and trade for some more efficient pitching none of those guys real have a good ERA or Whip so you are losing points there. You need to go out and find a couple of hold guys on the ole waiver wire like a Luis Ayala or damaso marte. find a speedster and play him like a willy tavares or a joey gathright who would be available in most leagues.

Round out your team. Stop playing Dunn over crede at utility.
