its demeanour with the departure of their best defender and attacker. The point of view was further strengthened by the fact that the Rossoneri had already lost many of their veterans at the end of the 2011-12 season, who formed the backbone of the club for
a generation.
However, now that the multi-million transfers to Paris Saint-Germain are in place, a new wave of statements has started where players, ex-players, President and manager alike are bent on convincing that the Diavolo still has what it takes to be the best.
While the statement may be hard to believe looking at the long list of players that have left the club, and the handful of talent that has joined, it is nonetheless true that the Ibra-less attack is still very potent, and there is a lot of quality still
left in the squad.
Anyways, that does leaves us with two schools of thoughts, one that says that AC Milan is finished and the other maintaining that they still have the juice to be the best. It will be interesting to see which side wins in the contest, and something every
fan of Italian football will be looking forward to in the upcoming season.
