  1. Try checking out some of the articles here:

NS is observed and not controversial. Examples include darwins finches in the Galapagos, resistant bacteria, sickle cell, etc.

Evolution is used to mean many things. In the big sense of the word it means the alleged change from molecules to man.

This is a hypothssis, and is very controversial - certainly not observed.

E (goo-to-you) is the hypothesis that animals can change into different kinds of animals by means of natural selection working on genetic mutations.

These alleged mutations need to have added vast amounts of genetic information. However no such genetic mutation has ever been observed. Mutations are information neutral or lossy.

'But E is too slow to see' protest the Eists. Well then it's not observable and not worthy of being even called a theory. In any case, time is the enemy - mutations are resulting in the degradation of the gene pool - that is observable.

Many evolutionists (deliberately?) mislead people by calling NS evolution and then claiming E is proved.

Goo-to-you evolution goes against everything we know about science, and requires a massive faith!

  2. They aren't the same thing.  Evolution is change over time and natural selection is the mechanism that controls the directions of the change.

  3. This might help, I think. It's easy to read.

  4. The question doesn't make sense. Natural selection is *part* of evolution. It's like asking for 10 differences between daffodils and flowers.

The main components of evolution are descent with modification, and natural selection. (Other methods of selection, like sexual selection, are also important, but are often categorised under natural selection.)

Descent with modification means that children are not identical to their parents.

Natural selection means that those modifications which help creatures survive long enough to raise offspring will be more likely to be passed on.

And that's evolution in a nutshell.

This should be a good start.  It would take me an hour to answer your question.

  7. Evolution is by means of natural selection.

Natural selection favors certain differences that help an organism procreate and survive.  Evolution is basicly a new better modified version of the ancestor organism.
