  1. i say guppys are a good fish for that but you would need a divider in the tank becase adult guppys eat the little fry

  2. id say go for the guppies...  they are easy fish to take care of and breed veryyyyy often.. u can also add some tetras aswell

  3. Breeding any fish in a tank this small might put a lot of stress on the female.

You should have at least 2 females per male.  If you plan to keep the babies in the same tank, I wouldn't add many more fish than the few adults you can get.  Guppies are great, but the females aren't much to look at, so it wont be a very exciting tank with only one pretty male and a couple plain females.

I love mollies, but they can grow big (3-4 inches) and may outgrow a 10 gallon tank.

But you could go to the store and pick the two fattest Mollies that you can find.  There is a pretty good chance that they are pregnant.

They hold the male's sperm inside their bodies, so they can have babies for months without even needing a male around.  =)  Plus they come in a bunch of great colors.  Check out the dalmatian ones.

Platies are another option, as they stay smaller and are also have live babies.  Swordtails are jumpers, so if you go with them, you'll want to make sure you have a glass or screen top.

Don't forget to cycle it fro a couple weeks before adding fish.  =)

    GOOD LUCK!! And have fun!

  4. Guppies. They breed very often. And are easy to care for.

    Read up on 'em.

  5. If you want an easy hardy fish to breed, then get guppies.  They stay small, you could easily fit 8 of them in a 10 gallon tank, and they mate like crazy.  They are said to have babies every 28 days or so.  Just google guppies, and youll find that they are a very easy fish to raise.

Yes, i forgot to metion that, they sell little clear boxes that stick to the inside of the tank, where you put the pregnant female who is about to give birth, so when she has them, the babies are seperated from the larger fish.
