they got basketball, baseball, soccer and every other thing in the plympics-- why not american football? i know its an american sport-- but its not like we knew what the h**l curling was in the winter olympics // and we still had a team..

I love football and play it for my school, but there are obviously reasons why it's not at the Olympics:

The vast majority of the world has no clue what it is and don't play it. We're lucky we got even two sports we invented (baseball, basketball) in the games, and that's only because they're played widely outside the ol' US of A.
